Day 8

Something that I miss:
I miss summertime! Summertime is my favorite time of the year! I never complain of the heat, I welcome it! I miss going for a walk every morning with my daughters, playing at the park, soaking in some Vitamin D, barbeques with family and friends, running in the sprinklers, going swimming, wearing flip flops, wearing shorts, getting sno cones, and eating popsicles.
I cannot wait for summer to get here!

Day 7

My favorite scripture verse, doesn't come from the Bible, it comes from the Book of Mormon. This scripture is my favorite, and I try daily to live to this verse.
Mosiah 2:17-And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God.
I feel so wonderful about myself when I am serving others. Its a natural high for me!

Day 6

I haven't travelled very much. Growing up our trips were usually to Idaho, where my dad's family lived, or to southern Utah where it was warmer for Spring Break.

In 2004 my parents bought our family tickets for a cruise for our Christmas present! It was the best vacation ever! I love the sun, palm trees, water, and sand!

We visited Half Moon Cay, St. Thomas, Tortola and Nassau. The islands were so beautiful. I loved this vacation!

Day 5

The guy in this picture makes me smile everyday! He has brought so much joy into my life! I can't imagine my life without him in it!! We are complete opposites, which makes our relationship work. He loves all of me, the good, the bad, and the ugly! He knows everything about me. He is truly my BFF. I love him so much!!

Whenever I see this picture it brings a big smile to my face. He is one good looking man and I am so lucky to have him all to myself (well, I do have to fight with my girls over him, but he's worth it!).

Day 4

I love this song! It makes me want to dance around my house everytime I listen to it! Its my feel good song, and today I am feeling pretty good!

Day 3: Meet the parents

My mom and my dad are positive inspirations in my life. I love them so much and I am so grateful for all that they have done for me!

Day 2: First Love

First Love:
I don't really like talking about my first love. There is not a happy ending to this story. We lived a block away from each other when we were in elementary school. It started out with him giving me his rock collection when we were in the 4th grade. He also carved me a pumpkin for Halloween and always brought me little notes and left them on my porch. In 5th grade he gave me a ring. It was fun, cute little elementary school crushes. After 5th grade he moved and I didn't see him much because he was homeschooled. We met up again when we were both juniors in high school. We were both in traffic school. Lol. We started hanging out, and then we started dating, and fell in love. Out of respect for him, I won't go into details, but he had some problems and I didn't know how to deal with them, so, I ended it with him. I broke both of our hearts, but I felt it was the right thing to do. A year later he passed away. It was a very devastating time for me.
That is the story (in a nutshell) of my first love.
